About

Once upon a time, a boring mother of two with an office job was shaken out of her ordinary life by a massive 6.3 earthquake. Her house was broken, the city centre was flattened and all her friends were moving away. This set her thinking. If she died next month, what would she regret not doing?

She and her family went to live in France for a year. Something inside her woke there, among the hidden histories and cobbled streets. She began to write – badly. But she persisted.
